Create Together at Home
Simple art activities, ideas and resources to inspire creativity, confidence and connection at home.
Cross stitch is a simple form of sewing where you use small stitches to make little crosses on fabric.. By joining lots of crosses together, you can create pictures, patterns, letters and designs.
Anyone can cross stitch and the more you do it, the better you will get.
It isn’t about everything being perfect, its having fun, learning as you go and making things you love.
Why try it?
Cross stitch can help children develop fine motor skills and hand eye coordination that can help them with writing, and other activities that require good hand skills.
It also helps with concentration, patience and confidence as children learn a new skill and make something of their own.
